Axon is a locally owned fitness studio that focuses on strength-forward group training.
Our program is built from scratch in 12-week blocks with progression, safety, and creativity in mind. You won’t be coaching “constant variety” here.
We fancy ourselves the nerdy fitness folks, incorporating detailed movement education and the "why" into the warm-up, movement, and cooldown of each session.
Most importantly, we’re a community. We want our members to succeed, to be healthy, and to be able to do the things they love to do outside of the gym.
Attributes of Axon Coaches:
Belief in consistency and repetition over constant variety
Focused on teaching proper form and technique over “cheerleading” or squeezing out one more rep
Skilled at teaching movements in a variety of ways (verbally, physical demonstrations, etc.) to a group of 20, 1:1, and everything in between
Values the relationships and needs of clients as much (or more) than the workout itself
